How much make up will you put on until it's enough?
Will you ever be pretty enough?
How much money will you make until it's enough?
Will you ever be successful enough?
How much fancy clothes can you buy until it's enough?
Will you ever have enough nice clothes?
How many new iphones can you buy until it's enough?
How far can you run until it's enough?
Will you ever be strong enough?
Is there an enough?
What amount makes you satisfied? Will we ever be satisfied with ourselves?
The answer is no. There will never be enough earthly things for us. It's because of one reason, we aren't just earthly beings. There is so much more that is waiting for us. The things on this earth will NEVER be able to fully satisfy us. So why do we try so hard? We want to feel successful and happy and we think that striving to be rich or pretty enough will do it. And yet once you hit your goal, you feel like there is something better than that. There isn't anything on this earth that will ever satisfy your hunger for attention and love. There is only one person that will ever be able to satisfy us, and his name is Jesus Christ. We try so hard searching for satisfaction in money, drugs, sex, and friends. And yet those things will never be enough. You will learn once you hit that high in life, and yet it still doesn't feel like quite enough. But look to Jesus to fill your life. With him you will find satisfaction. He is the only way to ever fully be satisfied. All earthly things will pass away. Jesus is eternal. He will always be there. Money, clothes, iphones, grades, makeup, drugs, won't be. So stop putting your faith in things that just won't be able to give you full satisfaction. Put your faith in something that lasts forever! God will always satisfy those who are hungry. Trust in him, and you will feel what full satisfaction is really like:)
